ABOUT
Sunny Leerasanthanah (they/them) is a queer photographer and multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, New York. They were born in Bangkok, Thailand.
Their freelance work has ranged from portraits/headshots, editorial, events, nightlife, documenting LGBTQ+ community, wedding parties, and commerical work.
Notable commissioned projects includes: photographing queer line-dancing extensively for Stud Country and SCUFF; taking multi-year portraits of Fire Island Artist Residency participants; and publishing 40+ portraits of American artists and art world figures in the book We Are Here: Visionaries of Color Transforming the Art World by Jasmin Hernandez (2021). They are an Up Next Member with Diversify Photo.
